Warm Cream
One of our favourite colours to play with when it comes to interior design is cream, because it’s super versatile and warming. The best thing about this colour is that it can be used in any space to create a homely feeling. We recommend incorporating it throughout bedrooms in particular as it shares the cleanness of traditional white, while reflecting a slightly warmer tone. Try adding a splash of paint to a feature wall or fit a beautiful blind across your window to add interest and texture. A beautful natural, linen blind or curtain looks lovely against a cream wall.
Hints of red
Red is one of the warmest colours to choose from, so it’s important that you don’t over do things. That’s why we suggest using it to highlight certain features, or to add an accent to more plain areas. For instance, a red velvet curtain can work especially well in a lounge room that needs a boost of warmth throughout the colder months as well as being insulating. When paired with a couch or lounge chair in a softer colour, you can establish a sense of comfort in even the most frosty areas.
